Only two days until Morpeth Fair Day!

Turners Fun Fair is already set up and their opening times are:-

Friday 12th 5:30 – 8:30

Sat 13th 1:30 – 8:30

Sun 14th 10:00 -5:00

The fair officially starts at 10 am on Sunday, with the opening ceremony at the Main Stage, however registration for the kids fun run is from 9 am at the main stage.The fun run will start at 10:15.

The classic cars and Harley Davidson bikes will be parading through the town centre at 12 o’clock, with the Northumbria Blood Bikes and the Morpeth Pipe Band. The Stanners will be where the classic cars and Harley Davidson bikes will be on display; there will also be giant inflatables, Bungee, Giant Slide, Huggy Boats, rides, climbing wall, paintballing, rabbits & guinea pigs, chainsaw display, fire engine, beat the goalie as well as food and drink stalls.

Bridge Street, Oldgate Street, Newgate Street and Market Place have an amazing array of stalls and activities on display, including:-

Don’t forget a lot of the shops, restaurants and bars will also be open on fair day!

There will be music and dancing on the main stage, as well as performances in Sanderson Arcade:-

A few Fair Day FAQ’s for you:-

Marshals and Northumbria Police will be there to help you enjoy your day and to ensure your safety. Please follow the their instructions, particularly with regard to traffic control. Any questions on the day? – ask a marshal.

Public toilets will be available in Morpeth Bus Station, Carlisle Park, The Terrace (Library) Car Park and on High Stanners.

First aid is available at the main control caravan, by the main stage, in the Market Place.

Fair Day Park and Ride – Bridge Street, Newgate Street, Oldgate and New Market will be closed to traffic from 7am to 7pm on Fair Day. Please use the FREE Park and Ride vintage bus service, which operates between 9:30 and 16:30 from County Hall (signposted on the A192 South of Morpeth) to Morpeth Bus Station.
